MWC Wieliczka 2023 venues

The SOLNE MISTO Education and Recreation Center is another investment on the map of the dynamically developing Wieliczka. It consists of a modern indoor swimming pool, playing fields and tennis courts, gyms and a conference and training centre. The opening of the entire facility took place in January 2011. The investment was financed from the budget of the Wieliczka Commune and the Physical Culture Development Fund.

The indoor swimming pool includes: a sports pool measuring 12.5 x 25 m, a recreational pool, a slide, a paddling pool, a jacuzzi and a sauna. There were also facilities in the form of a cloakroom with a sanitary facility, administrative and technical rooms and a cafe. The total usable area of the pool is 3877.22 m2. In the first pool, the water level is 1.20 m at the shallowest point and 1.84 m at the deepest. A second swimming pool with the slide has a depth of 0.90 m to 1.20 m.

Solne Miasto this will be the main championship  arena also offers a sports hall, which, together with its equipment, is primarily used for sports and recreation activities, but it is also used to organize various types of events, e.g. shows. Hall dimensions: 25 x 50 m. This hall is equipped with professional inrun baskets for basketball, equipment for handball, volleyball and indoor football. This facility has an auditorium with 400 seats. The Wieliczka Education and Entertainment Center is not only sport in its purest form. It also offers several conference rooms. Auditorium room (70 people), Auditorium room (40 people), five training rooms (35 people each), Conference whole (170 people). The gym is another offer that Solne Miasto has prepared for its customers. The area of the gym is 140 square meters.
